Dr. Wendy Peterson is the owner of this new business located at 505 Commerce Way.  She and her husband purchased a 1.29 acre commercial lot to construct a new 3,245 square foot dental office with 25 parking spaces.  The project was constructed using a local Cloquet construction firm, Andrew Genereau Construction, with several regional subcontractor teams contributing to the project.  Co-building owner Joel Peterson also worked extensively on the building construction to implement his wife’s vision.    

Dr. Wendy Peterson is a Minnesota native who grew up in Long Prairie, MN.  During her childhood she helped her parents with their businesses, first with their multigenerational family fa rm then later their convenience store, this developed her strong work ethic and customer service skills.  She started her career in dentistry as a dental hygienist graduating from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2006 and later went on to continue her education at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky class of 2018.  After completing dental school, she was eager to move back to her home state to practice dentistry, settling in Esko with her husband and two children.   A professional interest of hers is Implant Dentistry.  She continues professional development education with an interest in improving patient outcomes.  Dr. Peterson has worked in both private practice and public health as a dentist specializing in complete oral health care including preventative care, emergency care, and restorative services.  For more information visit https://www.woodswaterdental.com/ and social media pages on Facebook and Instagram.
