The value of small businesses is often underestimated because they are small. But that doesn’t mean that the impact they have is small. In fact, small businesses have a huge impact not only on the national economy, but on the economy of their communities as well.  

The intent of this site is to celebrate the Hidden Gems of Cloquet that may not be as well known as some of the medium and large businesses in the community, along with other unique groups that make Cloquet special.  We strive to thank businesses for operating in our commercial districts which keeps them vibrant and thriving!  The project is a partnership between Shelly Peterson Founder / CEO of Promoting Me, LLC and the Cloquet Economic Development Authority which spotlights the people of our City, which is what makes these businesses and groups so great.
